What to expect from coaching with me
There are thousands of people who call themselves coaches. Some, like executive coaches, specialise in particular client groups. Others, like cognitive behaviour coaches, specialise in specific methods or approaches. And some, such as relationship or career coaches focus on a particular issue.
You might also see what I do described as a career coach, executive coach, personal development coach, coaching psychologist, professional coach, psychological coach, transition coach, transformational coach or life coach.
But rather than focus on a label I focus on the outcome. What I want for you is to feel more satisfied and fulfilled in your life and career.
I work from the premise that we construct our own realities and so my goal is to help you understand how you construct yours.
We look at the stories you tell yourself and others about who you are and who they are. You’ll become aware of how these stories may be helpful or unhelpful to you living your life.
I help you separate ‘you’ from ‘your situation’, to view it from afar.
Similarly, careers don’t exist in isolation, so we’ll explore your career in a wider context than simply what jobs you’ve done.
I help you to recognise what does and does not work in your life. Then I support you to develop the skills and competences to behave and act in a way that is healthy for you and takes you to a better place.
